Setting profile attributes for clients
The Centrify Client for Linux is a software package you can install on Linux computers to support service-to-service password management and authentication services for Privileged Access Service users. To support these features, the client has a service user account. The service user requires some additional settings to have a valid profile on the Linux computer where services run or where you are authorizing client-based authentication for access.
To set profile attributes for the client service user:
- In the Admin Portal > Settings > Enrollment to display the settings available for Privileged Access Service.
- Click Linux Settings.
- Select a default shell from the list of available shells to use for the client service user.
- Specify the template to use for the home directory for the client service user.
- Click Save.
