If auditing is required but the agent is not running, users might be prevented from logging in. You can log in as a user with
root privileges and either restart the agent or temporarily disable auditing using
dacontrol -d to allow users to log in.
You can also run
dainfo --diag or check the log file to get more information. For example, if the
adclient process is not running, you might be unable to restart auditing.
If you cannot immediately correct the problem, you can temporarily disable all auditing.
