Monitoring file system disk space usage
Like most software applications, Centrify agents require adequate disk space to be available to operate properly. For example, agents read and write temporary files to authenticate processes and ensure data integrity. If your operating system does not have enough disk space to accommodate these temporary files, the agent might be unable to run and prevent users from logging on or activity from being audited.
To prevent problems with disk space allocation, you should monitor key directories, such as the
/var directories, to ensure free space is available. The disk space required by different directories depends on the configuration and operating systems of the computer and the Active Directory environment. However, if any directory approaches 100% of its allocation, you should allocate more disk or remove older files to free up space for continued operation.
