Configuring the basic evaluation environment

In this section, you install Centrify software on your evaluation computers and configure users, groups, roles, and group policies to integrate the UNIX environment into Active Directory. After you complete these steps, your UNIX or Linux computer will be a Centrify‑managed computer that is joined to the Active Directory domain, allowing UNIX users to log in using their Active Directory credentials.
