Scripts (Login/Logout)
Path
User Configuration > Policies > Centrify Settings > Mac OS X Settings > Scripts (Login/Logout)
Description
Use the User Configuration > Policies > Centrify Settings > Mac OS X Settings > Scripts (Login/Logout) group policies to deploy login and logout scripts that run when an Active Directory user logs on or logs out. When you use these group policies, the login and logout scripts are stored in the Active Directory domain’s system volume (sysvol
) and transferred to the Mac computer when the group policies are applied. Login and logout scripts are useful for performing common tasks such as mounting and un-mounting shares.
Note: When these group policies are enabled, the first login by an AD user will restart the login script and return the user to the login window. Subsequent logins by this user or a different user occur normally and the changes generated by the script happen immediately.
