Unzip and restore AIX files

Execute the following commands to unzip and restore the Authentication Service for IBM DB2 package files on an AIX computer:

gunzip centrify-db2-release-aixos_release-ppc.tgz

tar -xvf centrify-db2-release-aixos_release-ppc-bff.tar

gunzip centrify-db2-release-aixos_release-ppc-bff.gz

After you execute these commands, the file centrify-db2-release-aixos_release-ppc-bff is ready to be installed using the native AIX installer. Go to Install the Authentication Service for IBM DB2 package using the platform’s installation program and continue from there.
